 Runners in the Truframe Greyhound Stud Book Trophy Final on Thursday 23 May over 480m at Monmore Green: The winner will get £2,500 and a Trophy! All others get £100.

1 BENKAAT BLUE: blue dog, 01/04/2010, Droopys Scolari – Star of Dromin, owner Mr D Daley of Ipswich.  Bred by Deborah Mullins at Capel St Mary, Ipswich, Suffolk.  Winner of Heat 2 in 28.62   

2 CRASTER KIPPER: bk w dog, whelped 01/05/2011, bred by the Littlefairs at Hartlepool by Crash out of Poolie Pride.  Trained  by Harry Williams and owned by him with Ian Lavery MP (Wansbeck) and Joss Barnfather . Half-brother to last year’s winner Blue Artisan (from Poolie Pride’s July ‘08 litter by Droopys Maldini)  Finished second to Klockwork Korker in Heat 1 in 28.72 

3 FOZZIE ONEDOG: bk dog, whelped 29/06/2010, by Advantage Johnny out of Icemaid Lilley. Owned and trained by Pam Burford and bred by her and husband Lance at Womborne. Knows Monmore well, won 14 races there. Slow away in the heats, but ran on to finish third in 28.70 

4 OLD CODGER: blue dog, whelped 01/01/2011, by Ace Hi Rumble (pic) out of Ballymac Class … owned, bred and trained by Richard Baker near Kidlington in Oxfordshire. Finished second to Benkaat Blue in the heats in 28.65. Won three of his last five races at Hall Green.

5 KLOCKWORK KORKER (M): bk dog, whelped 02/05/2011, by Crash out of 2008 Midlands Oaks winner Klockwork Kyla.  Bred by Rich Vicary, owned by Vicary’s Jacks The Lad Syndicate, Bishopsteignton, Devon and trained by Paul Sallis. Fastest in the heats, winning Heat 1 in 28.42

6 START ITUP SWEEP (W)  black dog, 04/12/2010; Hondo Black x Delwood Sharleen  bred by Andy Slater at Cove, near Farnborough; owned by Leonard Timmins’ Start Itup Syndicate, Wolverhampton, trained by Chris Allsopp.  Winner of six races at Monmore, posted 28.76 this time in Heat 1.
